* Motor Protection Device
This device will be actuated to disconnect poer supply to the drive motor in the event of motor over load or short circuit. this device is located in the Machine room.
* Non- Reversal Device
This device will be actuated to disconnect poer supply to the drive motor in the event of motor over load or short circuit. this device is located in the Machine room.
* Handrail Entry Safety Switch
The operation of this switch shall be effected in the events of fingers, hands or other debris being pinched at the handrail inlet. This switch is provided on both sides of upper and lower inlet. Comb Safety contact & Step up thrust Safety Switch.
This device is incorporated to cause the escalator (moving walk) to stop automatically in case of foreign objects being trapped at the point where step treads (pallets) enters the comb. The operation of this switch also shall be effected in case of steps (pallets) being up thrust in parts.
* Skirt Guard Safety Switch
The operation of this switch shall be effected in the events of objects trapped between steps (pallet) and skirt guard. This switch is provided at the right and left side of both upper and lower curved areas.
* Emergency Stop Button
The operation of this button shall cause the electrical supply to be disconnected from the driving machine. And activate the electro magnetic brake.
This bottom is provided on both upper and lower sides of the operating panel.
* Broken Step-Chain Device
In the event of undue elongation or breakage of step-chain, this device shall be effected immediately to cause the escalators (moving walk) to stop. The device is provided at the lower side of the machine room.
* Step Sagging Contact
This device is incorporated to cause the escalator (moving walk) to stop automatically before the step (pallet) reaches the comb lines in case the step sinks down due to premature wear of rubber tyres of step (pallets) wheels and step chain wheel or any fractures on the step.
* Broken Drive-chain Safety Device
In the event of undue elongation or breakage of drive chain, the escalators (moving walk) shall stop automatically my immediate activation of this device that causes the electrical supply to the drive motor to be disconnected.
* Brake
Brake is activated to stop the escalator (moving walk) by a spring force action when the power fails or any safety device is activated.
